Zarina Mahmood

Executive Director & Co-Founder

Zarina is currently working as an Accounts Director for a hotel representation company based in London. Her clients range from luxury hotel chains to independent property owners across the world.

A salesperson at heart, Zarina is combining her role as Accounts Director with that of Executive Director and Co-Founder of bonafide hr. She brings her passion for people development and her commercial acumen to launch our company.

Zarina says, “The bonafide brand of companies is our long-term vision of creating services and products with people at the centre of everything we do. bonafide hr is the first, and I’m thrilled to be part of this journey.”

In her spare time, Zarina has been involved in fundraising for several charities close to her heart. An enthusiastic stargazer, she also enjoys taking her telescope and escaping into the night skies.

She shares her life in West London with her husband and Bella the cat.

Shaheen Sayed Kadri

Co-Founder & Director Human Resources

Before co-founding bonafide hr, Shaheen enjoyed a career in Human Resources spanning over 15 years. He worked in both the UK and US for some of the most prestigious companies…

…Including Elsevier, Morgan Properties, HSBC, Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays Bank, Bloomberg LP, Estee Lauder Group of Companies, LexisNexis, Clermont Hotels and Kantar, part of WPP.

Shaheen holds a degree in Politics, a postgraduate degree in Human Resource Management and an Advanced Diploma in Personnel Development. He has a track record of driving change and improving organisational performance by creating a workplace that encourages employee engagement and where challenges are overcome, often beyond expectation.

In his spare time Shaheen enjoys keeping fit and watching sci-fi movies. He recently took up running and hopes to start participating in marathons to help raise money for charities and give back to the community.
He shares his life with his American partner in London.

Shazia Kadri

Head of Human Resource Operations

Shazia spent most of her career with the Metropolitan Police at Scotland Yard, where she started in Human Resources before moving to Finance. She holds a degree in Psychology and Sociology.

Here at bonafide she will oversee the financial side of the company and will work on several partnerships, collaborating closely with suppliers and customers. She is excited to be leading bonafide and has some great plans and initiatives. We are delighted that she has agreed to join us.

Shazia lives in the suburbs with her husband and daughter, where she says she has mastered the art of the perfect red velvet cupcake!

Elizabeth Munn

Advisory Board Member

Elizabeth is currently a Managing Director at Elsevier, responsible for Health Content across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia Pacific. She is a collaborative and results-driven senior leader of international teams.

With vast experience across global content management, marketing, product management and business development, Elizabeth brings a wide range of knowledge in making smarter and more effective business decisions.

She has 25 years of business experience in publishing, over 15 of which have been in leadership roles. She also holds a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies.

Fay Ross

Advisory Board Member

Fay works within the Talent Acquisition profession and brings with her 25 years of industry experience. She was more recently a member of the RPO talent development team for a major specialist publishing company.

Fay holds an MA in Recruitment Practices and is now preparing for her PhD. She brings to bonafide hr a wealth of insight, experience and knowledge of Talent Acquisition across a range of industries, together with hands-on practical guidance and direction.

As well as continuing to offer her professional services to RPO companies, Fay is passionate about her contribution to voluntary work. She is committed to fundraising and works with various schools.

Rhonda James

Rhonda James

Advisory Board Member

Rhonda is an experienced Human Resource practitioner, having spent over ten years managing people and business change projects. Her key strengths are handling the practical side of change to ensure the strategic vision is achieved.

Rhonda has both in-house and consultancy experience, which enables her to understand the complexities of managing people and change at all levels throughout an organisation.

She holds a BA (Hons) in Management Studies and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management.

Hans Schumann

Executive Career & Life Coach

Hans is an executive coach with 22 years’ experience as a lawyer in private practice and corporate financial services. A serious health crisis caused him to re-evaluate his life and create a new coaching career aligned to his passion for personal growth.

He now works with a wide range of executives, business owners and city workers in the areas of personal effectiveness, staff engagement, leadership skills, job satisfaction and work-life balance.

Hans is trained in a wide range of coaching modalities for topics related to leadership, career, business and general life skills. His action-orientated coaching process combines tools, processes and models from world-renowned coaching experts with his own career and life experience.

Jenny Powell

HR Consultant

Jenny is a highly experienced professional who has extensive and wide-ranging senior HR experience. She can offer you developed and integrated support with your human resource needs.

For Jenny it’s all about people! People are at the heart and brains of your business; she understands that you will value your colleagues, and looks to strengthen and cement good relationships while gently loosening the ties with bad ones.

She uses the Employee Journey to engage employers and employees from the point they apply all the way through their life with a company, using a variety of methods. This ensures her rock-solid business ethics and personal values of integrity and honesty underpin every service she offers, helping clients to meet their goals in a fair, ethical and objective way.

When she isn’t working you will find her spending time with her husband and two children, travelling the world or walking her two greyhounds in the great British countryside.

Hayley Roffrey

CSR Partner

Hayley leads Global Fund for Children’s partnership development in the UK and Europe. She is an experienced senior leader in the non-profit and private sectors, with more than a decade of experience in development, fundraising, safeguarding and capacity development.

Since 2007, Hayley has raised over £11 million for a range of organisations working with children in the UK and Europe.

Hayley holds a postgraduate diploma in Marketing and Marketing Management from the Chartered Institute of Marketing; a postgraduate degree in Magazine Journalism from Cardiff University, and a bachelor’s degree in Drama and Dramatics/theatre arts from the University of Winchester. She is trained as a Designated Safeguard lead.

Sean Maher

Recruitment Partner

Sean started at hireful in 2006 after graduating. During his 12 years he has seen the company grow from just two employees to over 60.

He has seen eight of his colleagues and former colleagues get married; at one of these weddings he was the Best Man and at another he was the groom!

He is now the CEO at hireful. He brings to the team a lot of strong client relationships and the ability to recruit for business of all sizes and industries.

Sean has a close relationship with Kidney Research as part of their volunteer panels, having learnt more about them whilst a close friend waited for a kidney transplant. He has since raised thousands of pounds for the charity and now even helps them to recruit!

Ailsa Suttie

HR Consultant

Ailsa’s career spans 20 years in senior HR roles across the luxury retail, hospitality and media sectors. She is an experienced generalist and has a particular interest in cultural transformation and building high performing teams.

Ailsa began her career as a graduate management trainee for Stakis hotels in Scotland, this forged her belief in, and understanding of, client service and experience and she has taken this forward into her HR career.

After moving to London Ailsa began her HR training with a global management consultancy, going on to work within media and post production, she even worked for a number of years within Harrods!

Ailsa returned to Scotland in January 2020 and is looking forward to offering the high touch bonafide hr service to clients North of the border.

In her spare time, you mostly will see her outdoors, walking her beloved dog and running of the Fife beaches. Never still she is also learning to renovate antique furniture and is always on the lookout for suitable pieces.

Darren Henderson

Wellness Partner

Darren was an IT Project Manager for 10 years and managed an array of key public-sector projects across the NHS and the Salvation Army. He was also a member of the British Army Medical Services for six years, where he earned two service medals.

In 2009 Darren and his partner moved into a garden flat in East London and, with no prior experience, renovated the 80-foot Japanese water garden. The result has since featured on the BBC and in various publications.

Darren branched out into terrarium designs in 2016 when he started Botanical Boys, and the company has been featured in several international articles. He has since taught hundreds of clients and feels he is making the City a happier place to live through his terrariums, which make the benefits of gardening accessible to everyone.

By combining the service offerings of bonafide hr and Botanical Boys, we can offer clients a means to enhance staff wellbeing through terrarium gardening.

Hollie Habgood

Recruitment Partner

Hollie joined hireful in 2018 after making the leap from customer service to recruitment. Over the last two years, she has worked with a huge variety of clients across the UK on their vacancies. She particularly enjoys working on positions within the digital market.
